Alcobendas is a municipality in Spain belonging to the Community of Madrid. It is located 15 kilometers north of the capital. It limits with the municipalities of San Sebastián de los Reyes, to the north; Madrid, to the west and south; and Paracuellos de Jarama, to the east. It has a population of 117,040 inhabitants.
