Castillo de El Papiol

This castle dates back to 1115 when Ramón Berenguer III, Count of Barcelona, ceded the town of El Papiol as a fief to the Pere brothers. It is a medieval castle located on the banks of the Llobregat River and its architecture is a journey through time.

In 1148 due to an earthquake, a large part of the castle is destroyed; however, it has now been restored.

Iglesia de Santa Eulalia

The current church was inaugurated in the 20th century and is a work by Josep Ros i Ros and Joan Montero Pazos. The building has three naves but what stands out most about this parish is the clock that is located under the bells.

Today, the church is a protected and inventoried monument within the Catalan Architectural Heritage as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest.
