Cartuja de Santa María de Montealegre

This building is a monastery of the Carthusian order and is the only one in Catalonia that still preserves a community of monks. Can Sent-romà

In Roman and Gothic style, this farmhouse was organized around a central courtyard surrounded by rooms and its left side is currently flanked by a tower. The name of the building (Sent-romà) is due to the fact that its chapel was dedicated to San Romano and has currently been declared a cultural asset of national interest.
